Assembling the AP1200, June 4, 2005. For me, this is a great day: even with a lengthy "punchlist" of items needing completion, having this scope in a permanent observatory is a dream come true.

Wall height was computed (apparently successfully!) to provide just enough clearance over the scope when in one of the standard "park" configurations, and will give a clear view to the south to about 15° above the horizon once I take a few trees down.
